The Americas and Caribbean Regional Expert Meeting, organised by the Indigenous Rights in the Commonwealth Project, held at Hotel Tower, Georgetown, Guyana, June 23rd-25th, 2003, was the fourth and final consultative meeting to be held in different regions of the Commonwealth during the three year project. The expert regional meeting brought together Indigenous peoples' organisations, and experts in Indigenous issues to discuss Indigenous rights in Belize, Dominica, Guyana and Canada.
