Governance and Democracy

The importance of individual freedom and democratic rule is central to the contemporary Commonwealth.  CPSU works to encourage good governance and the promotion of democracy.  Recent work includes a report on the State of Democracy in the Commonwealth, as well as working to deepen Commonwealth values in Commonwealth candidate countries, as well as new members such as Rwanda.
